“Taking the Lead.” It’s a lot more than my monthly leadership columns in PRSA’s Strategies & Tactics. It’s what I think all leaders should do. It’s more than just meeting your goals, it’s exceeding them. It’s also knowing the difference between managing and leading, and the impact the latter has on the former.
Mostly, Taking the Lead means inspiring your followers (as well as your peers, boss, and stakeholders) and yourself to take the action to achieve the outcomes you want for your organization and for yourself.
